Tonight Rotordesign.com gets switched over to a WordPress style blog using a unique sliding navigation bar.
The 200v Servolite filter caps arrived today. Here is more about them. They were pricey. But at least now the entire system is good for 200vdc. I have only tested it to 125vdc. It took some serious tuning of the amplifiers to get it not to oscillate. The motors run cool. The Z axis was running warm since it was oscillating some. A drive pulley with half the teeth helped a bit. EMI could still be affecting it.
I have changed the Rotordesign.com front page from it’s 10 year old style to WordPress blog styling. There is so much more versatility in using WordPress.
I can change themes so easily. All of the pages will stay the same so that links that people have made to my pages will remain the same. Over time I may change the style of each page to reflect the WordPress styling.
